I just wanted to write and let Level 5 know how pleased I am with our new home security and monitoring system.

I am the mother of a 2 year old and soon to be a mother of a newborn as well. When we moved into our new house I was a bit uneasy about the fact that the children would be upstairs in separate bedrooms while my husband and I were on the first floor.

I heard my husband saying that we would have the capability of monitoring the rooms the children were in through the sound system in the house, but I was skeptical that I would really be able to hear well enough to trust it.

After only 2 days of being in the house I am a believer. I could hear every breath my son took at night. It was as if I was lying right next to him and in the morning if he stirs a little I am there in an instant before he has even had time to exit his bed. I am particularly fond of the fact I can put him upstairs to watch a show he is in to and hear everything downstairs while I am preparing dinner. It is truly amazing and for a mother a real comfort.

Another thing I love about our security system is that I often forget to set the away alarm when exiting the house with children in tow. With this new system I can set the alarm by cell phone as I am pulling out of the driveway, turn on needed lights when I return and just feel a sense of peace when I am home knowing that if a door is opened that exposes the children to the exterior of the home I will know not only that someone exited, but where by the screen in our main room.

I just love the way technology has impacted my life. I feel more at ease in a large home and I think the children do too. Thanks Level 5!
